Savory zeppole with cheese and salami
A delicious savory recipe made without eggs, great for Carnival time and beyond. You know, we all have a weakness for fried foods, even more so if we find chunks of our favorite salami or cheese inside 😋😁. A very simple and quick recipe to prepare with a few ingredients that we can customize according to our taste or need. A soft dough made in two minutes and placed in the oil with a spoon without getting your hands dirty!!! The savory zeppole are great for an aperitif, appetizer, as an afternoon snack or whenever we feel like it!

Ingredients for savory zeppole with cheese and salami:
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup water
- 1 tbsps instant yeast for savory preparations
- salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 3 oz salami
- 3.5 oz cheese (Grated)

In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, cheese, yeast, sugar, and add the water.
Combine well. Finally, add the chopped salami and mix. (If you want, you can also add various types of salami or use cooked ham, speck, or mortadella.) Meanwhile, heat the oil on the stove and place the mixture with the help of two spoons.
Fry for a few minutes on both sides, then drain on absorbent paper. Proceed in the same way until the mixture is finished.
