Bitter Greens with Chicken Breast..delicious!

I bought these bitter greens at the supermarket without ever having tasted them.. I had heard they were very bitter, inedible but very good for the liver because they’re purifying, so I got down to it and improvised a little recipe….not bad! The bitterness is almost unnoticeable, maybe because I soaked them with lemon or maybe for the addition of soy sauce👌

Ingredients

  • oz 10.5 Bitter greens
  • oz 7 Chicken breast
  • 1 lemon
  • to taste butter
  • to taste oil
  • to taste soy sauce
  • to taste flour

Steps

  • Wash them and peel with a vegetable peeler. Cut them into sticks

  • Let them rest in water and lemon for about 30 minutes.
    Meanwhile, cut the chicken breast into strips and flour it.

  • Cook.

  • Drain the greens from the water and put them in a pan with a knob of butter.

  • Add soy sauce to taste and half a glass of water.

  • When the meat is cooked, add it to the bitter greens.
