Ingredients
- 5.6 oz ladyfingers
- 7 oz ricotta
- 2.8 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 12.3 oz berries (mixed, fresh or frozen)
- 2.1 oz powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Tools
- Baking dish
- Small pot
- Bowl
- Mixer
Preparation
Wash and dry the berries.
Put about half in a small pot, add a tablespoon of sugar and a tablespoon of lemon juice.
Cook for a few minutes over low heat, until the liquid forms, which will be used to soak the cookies. If desired, you can also add a tablespoon of orange liqueur.
Let the syrup cool, in the meantime, prepare the cream: mix the ricotta, the cream cheese, and the powdered sugar in a bowl.
Whip the cream with the mixer until fluffy and firm. Incorporate it into the ricotta cream, folding gently from bottom to top.
Take half of the ladyfingers and dip them in the syrup. Place them at the bottom of the baking dish, then add some fresh berries (1).
Cover with half of the cream and level with a spatula (2).
Form a second layer of syrup-soaked ladyfingers and berries, then cover with the remaining cream.
Cover the baking dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least an hour or two.
Shortly before serving the dessert, decorate the surface with more fresh berries and a few mint leaves if you like.
The berry tiramisu is ready, fresh and delicious, perfect for any occasion!
Tips and Notes
You can use both fresh and frozen berries. In season, you can also add strawberries.
For the cream to whip well, it should be very cold, as well as the whisks and the bowl you use. To keep it whipped longer, you can add (while whisking) a pinch of cornstarch.
