Amaretto Fruit Salad

If you want to serve a fruit salad that’s a little different from the usual, try this one with amaretto and dark chocolate. It’s a light and extremely pleasant dessert that you can prepare without a scale by measuring the various ingredients to taste. It’s excellent to offer at the end of a meal even to guests and is very simple to make. It’s true, sometimes it takes very little to make even the simplest thing special.

Ingredients for the Fruit Salad

For this fruit salad, I chose a pear, an apple, a green kiwi, and white grapes, but you can make it with any type of fruit, adapting it to each season and adjusting the various ingredients to taste also depending on the number of people you want to serve it to. I recommend mixing at least 3/4 types of fruit.

  • 1 Kaiser pear
  • 1 apple
  • 1 kiwi
  • 1 bunch white grapes
  • 1 orange
  • brown sugar
  • A few amaretto
  • 0.7 oz dark chocolate

Tools

  • Citrus Juicer
  • 1 Bowl

Preparation of the Fruit Salad

  • Wash the fruit very well and cut it into chunks, collecting them in a large bowl as you go.

    It is not necessary to peel pears, apples, or peaches.

    If you’re using grapes, it’s preferable to use seedless ones. I recommend cutting the larger grapes in half.

  • Squeeze the orange and drizzle the fruit with the juice. Mix, then sprinkle everything with brown sugar to taste.

  • Cover with plastic wrap, place in the refrigerator, and let it marinate for at least half an hour.

  • Before serving the amaretto fruit salad, gently mix it and complete it with some crumbled amaretti and dark chocolate flakes. I also added a few small whole amaretti. Enjoy! Paola
