Panettone Truffles with Cocoa and Rum
In these days you have surely opened many panettones and find yourself with lots of leftovers, no problem ☺️ make cocoa truffles! A very simple and quick recipe that we can customize according to our taste! I chose to make them with cocoa and ricotta, and add a bit of rum and flavor inside because I like it a lot! Very cute single-serving treats to bring to the table as a dessert these days and a great way to recycle panettone leftovers after the holidays!

Ingredients for panettone truffles with cocoa and rum:
- 10.6 oz panettone
- 3.5 oz ricotta
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1.8 oz powdered sugar
- 1.1 oz unsweetened cocoa powder (+ as needed)
- 20 rum flavoring (Or rum)
Steps
The preparation of the panettone truffles with cocoa and rum is very simple and quick, watch the video HERE.
First, chop the panettone leftovers (even mixed) and put them in a bowl. Add cocoa, powdered sugar, ricotta, rum flavoring, or rum.
Mix to obtain a homogeneous mixture. Add the milk and blend well (if needed, you can add a bit more milk). Take some of the mixture and shape it into balls with your hands. Roll them in cocoa.
Then place them in paper baking cups. Continue until the mixture is used up.
