Pandoro Log with Cream and Pomegranates

A scenic log made with a pandoro base and filled with pomegranate jam, cream, and fresh pomegranate seeds. A quick, no-bake dessert that we can serve on our tables during this Christmas season to enjoy as a dessert after meals! This recipe can also be made with panettone or you can use both! This log is great for preparing not only for Christmas but also for the New Year’s Eve dinner, Epiphany, or any day when we have guests and want to make something nice yet very simple.

Ingredients for the Pandoro Log with Cream and Pomegranates:

  • 1 pandoro
  • 1.25 cups whipped cream
  • 0.5 cup pomegranate jam
  • 1 pomegranate
  • 1.75 oz white chocolate

Steps

  • First, place plastic wrap on the work surface and arrange the pandoro slices in a row to form a rectangle. Cover any holes with pandoro pieces. Roll over with the rolling pin, then lightly wet with water and sugar and desired flavors.

  • Spread the jam on top using a spatula. Add the whipped cream on top, then place the pomegranate seeds. Roll it up using the plastic wrap.

  • Close it well and refrigerate for a few hours. Then cut the first slices and then cut two pieces.

  • Form the log. Cover with the remaining cream (100 g) then decorate as desired with white chocolate pieces, pomegranate seeds, powdered sugar, etc.

  • Enjoy your meal!
