Preparation of the savory pie with bacon and cheeses

  • In the bowl, pour the ricotta, eggs, diced bacon, small pieces of scamorza, hand-torn basil, and salt, mixing with a spoon until obtaining a homogeneous and creamy mixture.

  • Unroll the puff pastry and spread it in a non-stick pie mold, prick the bottom with a fork, and pour all the filling inside, leveling it with the spoon, slightly folding the edges over themselves.

  • Preheat the oven to 428°F (220°C) and once hot, bake and cook for 40/45 minutes until the edges are well golden. Once cooked, remove the pie from the oven and let it cool completely before taking it out of the mold.

  • Once the savory pie with bacon and cheeses is cold, remove it from the mold, place it on a serving plate, garnish with fresh basil, and serve! Enjoy your meal!
