White Chocolate and Hazelnut Nougat
What is Christmas without trying a nougat?! Even better if you make it at home! In past years I have already offered you the classic versions, with pistachio and hazelnuts, Kinder cereals, etc. So this year I propose a version made with white chocolate for the coating and for the filling hazelnut cream, hazelnuts, and more white chocolate. It turned out to be a real delight that my husband “devoured” in just a few minutes and asked me: “Did you only make one?” 😅. The nougat is great to serve as a dessert to finish the meal or as a sweet treat to accompany coffee during the day. It is also great to give as a gift to friends and family during the Christmas period!

Ingredients for the White Chocolate and Hazelnut Nougat:
- 3.5 oz white chocolate (For the coating)
- 1.75 oz hazelnut granules
- 5.25 oz white chocolate (For the filling)
- 2.1 oz hazelnut cream
Steps
The preparation of the White Chocolate and Hazelnut Nougat is very simple and quick, watch the video HERE.
Melt about 2 oz of white chocolate in a bain-marie or microwave and brush the nougat mold, covering the entire surface including the edges. Tap lightly and place in the fridge to harden. Melt the white chocolate for the filling (5.25 oz) and mix it with the hazelnut cream.
Add the hazelnut granules and mix well. Place the obtained mixture in the chocolate-covered mold, level with a spatula, tap lightly, and put in the fridge to set.
Once set, cover it with the remaining white chocolate for the coating (1.75 oz) and level well, removing any excess. Place it back in the fridge to let the chocolate harden, then remove the mold.
Enjoy!
