Bean and Ricotta Meatballs
Who said meatballs have to be made with meat? I propose these delights made with beans and ricotta, no meat and no eggs! A great simple dish to enjoy for lunch or dinner!

Ingredients for Bean and Ricotta Meatballs:
- 1 cup cooked beans
- 1/2 cup ricotta
- pepper
- garlic powder
- turmeric powder
- 2 cups tomato puree
- 1/2 cup ricotta
- 1 tbsp whole wheat flour
- salt
- 3 tbsps breadcrumbs
- ginger powder

Steps
The preparation of the bean and ricotta meatballs is very simple, watch the video HERE.
Chop the well-drained cooked beans. Add the ricotta, spices to taste (turmeric, ginger, pepper, garlic) and mix.
Add the breadcrumbs and flour and combine. Take some of the mixture in your hands and form the meatballs. In a pan, add some oil.
Add the garlic and sauté. Add the tomato puree, a bit of salt, half a glass of water.
Cook for about 20 minutes. Add the meatballs and cook for another 20 minutes on low heat. Turn them halfway through cooking!
