Herb-flavored chicken nuggets, or delicious chicken breast bites with a tasty and flavorful coating! A perfect way to enjoy chicken breast differently from the usual grilled slice tossed at random, they will be loved by both adults and children. They are quick to prepare and perfect served alone or with some delicious sauces (at the end of the article I’ll also give you some sauce ideas!). Ingredients for the herb-flavored chicken nuggets

  • 1.1 lbs Chicken breast
  • The juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil (for marination)
  • 2 tbsps Extra virgin olive oil (to use before baking)
  • to taste Fine salt
  • 3/4 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsps Roast mix (with rosemary, sage, bay leaf, onion, marjoram, thyme.)

Preparation of the herb-flavored chicken nuggets

  • Clean the chicken breast, remove any small bones, cut it first into strips and then into bites of the same size (no need to measure them to the centimeter!).

  • In a bowl (I recommend using a glass one), put the lemon juice, 1 tablespoon of oil, and a pinch of salt, mix and add the chicken bites, mix well, cover with plastic wrap and place in the fridge to rest for 30 minutes.

  • After resting in the fridge, take the bites, drain them from the marinade, coat them with the breadcrumb mixture (prepared with breadcrumbs, a pinch of salt, and the herbs indicated in the ingredients), press and adhere the coating well to the chicken.

  • Place all the chicken nuggets on a baking sheet with parchment paper, drizzle a bit of oil on top, and bake in a preheated static oven at 392°F and cook for 20 minutes, then 4 minutes of grill.

  • And voila, now the herb-flavored chicken nuggets are ready to be enjoyed hot!

  • VARIATIONS AND TIPS

    You can serve the chicken nuggets as they are or accompany them with sauces like mayonnaise, ketchup, or you can prepare a sauce with plain Greek yogurt, oil, salt, and pepper (light and full of flavor). You can also serve them drizzled with a very tasty sauce made with 1 teaspoon of honey, 3 tablespoons of lime juice, and a pinch of salt. You can also accompany them with a tasty mixed salad.
