Plum Spiral Tart

A tart made in a different way from the classic one, i.e., in a spiral way and filled with a generous plum filling. A vegan shortcrust made without eggs, milk, or butter to meet any need or intolerance.

Ingredients for the Plum Spiral Tart:

8-inch pan

  • 1 lbs plums
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • Half lemon juice
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 5 tbsps vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • Half packet baking powder
  • 1/2 cup plant-based milk
  • vanilla

Steps

The preparation of the plum spiral tart is very simple and quick, watch the video HERE.

  • In a saucepan, put the plums, sugar, lemon juice, and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  • Turn off the heat and let it cool. Base preparation:

    In a bowl, put the flour, sugar, baking powder, vanilla and mix. Add the plant-based milk, oil.

  • Mix and knead until a homogeneous dough is obtained. Roll out the shortcrust on a sheet of parchment paper. Spread the filling on top.

  • Sprinkle. Cut 5/6 equal strips. Roll the first strip onto itself and place it in the center of the pan.

  • Cut the remaining strips in half and place them around to form the spiral. Adjust if needed and bake at 350°F for about 40 minutes.
