Calzones or little packets or panzerotti (they are called in many ways) are very easy to prepare, just make the dough and fill them ☺️😋 A delicious recipe that we all love and can be made with two different cooking methods: fried or baked. Steps
For preparing the stuffed calzones with ham and mozzarella watch the video HERE.
Put the flour, a bit of salt. Add the yeast, sugar and a little water and mix well to dissolve it. Add it.
Add the remaining water and mix and knead until you get a homogeneous mixture. At the end, add a bit of oil and continue kneading for a few minutes. Let rise for about 2 hours in a warm place.
After resting, divide it into small pieces. Take one piece at a time and roll it out. Add a bit of mozzarella pieces.
Add diced ham and close well to prevent the filling from coming out during cooking. Continue like this until the ingredients are used up.
You can bake them in the oven at 356°F for about 30 minutes or fry them in hot oil. I always do half and half!
