Creamy Apple Cake
A delicious soft cake with lots of apples inside and plenty of custard! Apple cakes are my favorite, but I must say that this particular cake is even more so. Try it, you won’t regret it!

Ingredients for the creamy apple cake:
(8-inch pan)
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 cup cups milk
- 1/2 cup cups sugar
- vanilla
- 3 tbsp tbsps cornstarch
- lemon zest
- 3 eggs
- 2/3 cup cups milk
- 2 1/2 cups cups flour
- 1/4 cup cups vegetable oil
- lemon flavoring
- 3 apples
- 1 packet baking powder
- 3/4 cup cups sugar
- almonds (Whole and chopped)

Custard preparation:
Put the lemon peel in the milk and bring it to a simmer. In a small pan, put the yolks, sugar, and cornstarch and mix. If it seems too dry (depending on the size of your yolks), add a little milk (10-20 ml).
We need to obtain a homogeneous cream. Add some vanilla and mix. Strain the milk with the hot lemon peel. Add the milk while stirring.
Bring it to the stove to thicken. Stir again. Once thickened, turn off the heat. Place in a container.
Cover with plastic wrap and let it cool.
Cake preparation:
First, clean and slice the apples. In a bowl, put the eggs, sugar, and whisk. Add the oil, the milk.
Add some lemon flavoring, the baking powder, the flour little by little, and mix well. Add some of the apple slices and mix.
Put the mixture obtained in a mold. Add the cold custard. Place the remaining apple slices on top. Add a little sugar on top.
Add chopped and whole almonds to taste. Bake at 350°F (180°C) for about 45 min.
