Ingredients

  • 1 flatbreads (rollable)
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup ricotta
  • to taste salt
  • 3 oz salami
  • 3/4 cup mozzarella
  • 1 cup zucchini

How to make savory pie with flatbread

  • Take a 20 cm (8-inch) springform pan. Then wet a sheet of parchment paper, squeeze it, and place it inside the pan.

  • Place the flatbread inside the pan, leaving the edges high (if necessary, make small cuts on the sides to adhere the flatbread better to the walls).

  • At this point, add the eggs seasoned with a pinch of salt, also add the thinly sliced zucchini, finally add the ricotta and mix.

  • As the last step, fill with salami and mozzarella. Cook in an air fryer at 356°F for 15 minutes.

Storage and tips for savory pie with flatbread

The pie can be stored in the refrigerator covered with plastic wrap. If you want to make a lighter version, you can use whole wheat flatbread while, for an extra touch, you can add fresh aromatic spices. The ricotta can be replaced with béchamel or fresh cream.
