Today I prepared this healthy and tasty side dish, easy and quick to make and especially economical.
Once prepared you can store it in the fridge for 3 or 4 days and always have it at hand.
In addition, Stir-Fried Cabbage can be used as a filling for savory pies or omelettes and even for lasagna.
Cabbages are valuable foods for their nutritional principles: potassium, calcium, phosphorus, iron, folic acid, vitamin C.
They also contain anti-cancer, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant active principles.
They are purifying, contain many minerals and promote tissue regeneration, and are also very suitable for those with diabetes

- 3.5 oz onion
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 1 clove garlic
- to taste salt
- to taste pepper

Steps
Let’s go to the kitchen to prepare the
Wash the cabbage and remove the more damaged outer leaves. Take the amount you need, and remove the larger ribs that you could use for a soup
Slice it thinly.
Peel 100g of onion, and cut it into coarse slices.
Put the onion in the pan with extra virgin olive oil and 1 whole garlic clove.
Sauté for 3 minutes.
Add the sliced cabbage to the pan, salt, and mix well.
Let it flavor for a few minutes and then pour the wine and let all the alcohol evaporate on high flame.
Now cover the pan lower the flame and cook on low heat for about 15 or 20 minutes stirring often.
The stir-fried cabbage doesn’t need water to cook; the only water needed is the condensation. However, if the flame is high, it dries too much, and you should add a little bit.
At the end of cooking, leave the cabbage in the pan for 15 minutes or more.

How can I enrich the dish?
In Vegan or Vegetarian cuisine, just add thinly sliced potatoes alongside the sliced cabbage and extend with a little water.
In Omnivorous cuisine, 5 minutes before turning off the flame, you can add crumbled sausage.
