PISTACHIO TURNOVERS

Ingredients

  • 6 oz all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 3.5 tbsp sugar
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • pistachio paste

Steps

  • Pour the flour into a bowl, add the baking powder, sugar, and a pinch of salt, then the egg and butter in pieces.

  • Knead well, if necessary add a little more flour.

  • Roll out the dough on the work surface and cut it with a 2.75-inch cutter.

  • Fill with pistachio paste and fold in half, seal the edges and place everything on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  • Bake in a hot oven at 350°F for about 15 minutes.

  • Remove from oven and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
