Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1.75 oz amaretti
- 1.75 oz almonds
- 1 oz honey
Steps
Pour the flour into a bowl with a pinch of salt, add the sugar, egg, and chopped butter, mix well. Of course, you can use a food processor.
Chop the almonds with a knife. I used already toasted almonds.
Divide the shortcrust pastry, place half in a 8-9 inch mold, add the crumbled amaretti and almonds, drizzle honey on top and cover with the other half of the pastry.
Seal the edges and bake at 350°F for about 25 minutes.
Remove from the oven, sprinkle with powdered sugar and allow to cool before slicing.
