Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp fresh yeast
- 1 jar Nutella®
- dark chocolate
Steps
Dissolve the yeast in the milk, pour it into the mixer and add the flour.
Start the machine, add the sugar and the egg, let it knead and finish mixing.
It should be firm, not soft; if needed, add more flour.
Take the dough, form a ball, and let it rise in a bowl covered with plastic wrap, in the turned-off oven, for about 3 hours depending on the outside temperature.
After rising, you should get a dough weighing about 500 g; divide it into 3 pieces and roll each piece into rectangles.
Fill with Nutella and chopped chocolate pieces; for each strip, I used about two tablespoons of Nutella, obviously, you can use more according to your taste.
Roll and braid the cylinders together, seal the ends to prevent them from opening during rising.
Place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and let it rest for 30-40 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 350°F
Brush the sweet with a mixture of egg yolk and milk and bake for about 20-25 minutes, until golden.
