Savory potato and flour filled bundt cake

Ingredients

  • 1.76 lbs potatoes
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • to taste salt
  • 3.5 oz cooked ham
  • 1.75 oz salami
  • 1.75 oz diced speck
  • 5.25 oz provolone (dry or fresh)

Steps

  • Boil the potatoes, mash them with a potato masher.

  • Place the mashed potatoes in the food processor, start the machine, add salt, flour alternating with milk.

  • If needed, add a little flour, the dough should be firm and obviously being warm it will also be a bit sticky, then let the dough cool for at least 30 minutes.

  • Pour the dough onto the work surface, add a little flour if needed. If the dough is cold, only a dusting will be needed, however, the amount of flour is indicative because it depends on the type of potato used.

  • Roll out the dough, form a rectangle and fill it with ham and provolone, roll it up and close it into a bundt shape.

  • Brush with oil and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 30 minutes, until golden.

  • With the Bimby: Cut the potatoes into chunks, place them in the bowl with the butterfly, add the milk and salt 194°F speed 1 for 25 min, at the end add the flour speed 2 time 1-2 minutes.
