Ingredients
- 14 oz dark chocolate
- 0.5 cup milk (or cream)
- meringue (Italian meringue)
Steps
Prepare the Italian meringue, the recipe amount is enough for two large loaf pans so I recommend making half, with the full amount it will be a tall dessert.
Melt the dark chocolate with the unwhipped cream or milk and let it cool.
Once everything is ready, gently mix the two mixtures.
Line a mold with plastic wrap and pour in the mousse, level it well and place in the freezer for at least 30-40 minutes.
It does not solidify like a common cold cake, it remains always creamy. If there is leftover meringue, you can freeze it; it does not freeze solid and remains soft and can be used for any cold dessert.
