Greek Sauce with Feta and Yogurt

Greek sauce with feta and yogurt, like quick tzatziki sauce, is fresh, super fast to prepare, and very tasty. Perfect for accompanying meats and vegetables, meatballs or pita, delicious on crostini… in short, you must try it! The name of this sauce is tirokafteri, it is made with simple ingredients and has many delicious variations, which I will show you here.
Last week I went with friends to a Greek restaurant in Turin, the reviews were promising, and I, who love Greek cuisine, wanted to make a good impression. Among the many dishes offered, between spiced meatballs and rich and colorful dishes, this Greek sauce stood out, which intrigued me a lot and which I loved from the first bite. Of course, I tried to identify the ingredients of the Greek sauce but in the end, I gave up and asked the restaurateur. So kind and helpful, he gave me the recipe.
In my refrigerator, there is always a pack of feta and a pack of Greek yogurt, as well as chili peppers and oregano in the pantry. So, here is the recipe for homemade Greek kirokafteri sauce.
