Ingredients
- 1 lb 1.5 oz cherry tomatoes
- 3 pinches salt
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar (leveled)
- Half teaspoon dried oregano
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil (preferably spray)
What you need to make microwave tomatoes
- 1 Microwave oven
- 1 Microwave tray 28 cm heating
Preparation
Wash the cherry tomatoes well and dry them. Cut the tomatoes in half and place them on the Crisp tray, with the flesh facing up. Season the tomatoes with sugar, salt, oregano, and oil.
Set the microwave to the Crisp function, for 20 minutes, insert the tray and start cooking. The tomatoes will dry out and acquire a nice golden color. Once the cooking time is up, they will be ready to use in our recipes.
