  • 1 sheet puff pastry (round)
  • 2.8 oz salami (speck, cooked ham)
  • 2.8 oz provolone (spreadable cheese, taleggio)
  • as needed milk

Steps for Holiday Appetizer: Stuffed Savory Croissants

  • Roll out the puff pastry on the parchment paper and use the pizza cutter to cut out many triangles, aiming for about 25. Start by making a cross that divides the circle into 4 parts and then make diagonal cuts.

  • Place a small piece of filling of your choice at the base of each triangle, in the widest part, so one of the cold cuts or cheeses, until they are all filled.

  • Once all are positioned, roll the croissants up from the bottom until they are closed. Wet them with a bit of milk and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

  • Space them out on the baking tray or in the air fryer. Bake them in the oven at 390°F for about 15 minutes in static mode. Alternatively, cook them in the air fryer at 390°F for about 12 minutes.
