Milk Cutlets are a truly delicious, easy, and tasty main course. It’s a recipe from Italian cuisine that’s a bit different from the classic cutlets. I suggest you also try the pizzaiola cutlets and baked cutlets with taleggio, two other very appetizing variants. Generally, for this type of preparation, chicken breast is used, but in this case, I chose to replace it with pork loin slices. If you prefer another type of meat, you can also use turkey breast and then season them with other spices. Ingredients

  • 7 slices pork loin
  • 2 cups milk
  • to taste lemon juice
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
  • to taste dried oregano
  • to taste extra virgin olive oil

How to Prepare Milk Cutlets

  • Pour the milk and the juice of one lemon into a large bowl.

  • Place the slices of meat in the bowl, add salt and pepper, cover with plastic wrap, and let marinate for at least 1 hour. This will help to make the meat more tender.

  • In a baking dish, mix the breadcrumbs with the grated parmesan and oregano.

  • Now place the meat and bread all slices on both sides.

  • Transfer it to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and drizzle with a little olive oil.

  • Finally, as the last step, bake at 392°F (200°C) for about 15 minutes.

Storage and Tips for Milk Cutlets

This type of preparation can be stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container until the next day. Cutlets cooked both in the oven and in the air fryer are certainly lighter and healthier, but if you prefer, and don’t care about the diet, you can also fry them in peanut oil.
