  • 1 Bowl
  • 1 Spoon

Steps for Preparing and Cooking Crispy Gnocchi with Breadcrumbs in Air Fryer:

  • The process is very easy and quick.

Place the gnocchi in a bowl (we recommend using ready-made gnocchi purchased from the fridge section of the supermarket as they are firmer than homemade ones), add the oil and mix well, then add the breadcrumbs, parmesan, dried sage, and rosemary (alternatively, you can use other spices to your liking).

    Mix the ingredients well.

  • Preheat the air fryer to 392°F for 3 minutes.

Place the seasoned gnocchi in a single layer on the air fryer rack, cook at 392°F for 12 minutes, halfway through cooking, remove the basket and shake it to toss the gnocchi for perfect cooking.

  • Once cooked, serve them immediately, accompanied, if desired, by these sauces:

    – yogurt and lemon sauce (the one we used), mix 100 grams of Greek yogurt with 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and grated zest, then add a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil, salt and pepper, and mix well. Fresh and light.

    – parmesan sauce

    – smoky barbecue sauce (with paprika and honey)

    – chili mayonnaise sauce, for a spicy touch.

    – garlic and herb cream (with Philadelphia, aromatic herbs, and a little finely minced garlic)

FAQ (Questions and Answers)

  • Do I need to boil the gnocchi before cooking them in the air fryer?

No! The gnocchi should be cooked directly raw, otherwise they will lose their crispy texture.

  • Can I prepare them in advance?

Yes! You can bread them and store them in the fridge for a few hours before cooking them. If they remain, reheat them in the air fryer at 356°F for 3-4 minutes to restore crispness.
