Homemade Lemon Iced Tea
With the arrival of the heat, there’s nothing better than a refreshing drink made with your own hands: homemade lemon iced tea is one of the simplest, most economical, and natural solutions for quenching your thirst with taste.
Forget packaged drinks, too sweet and full of preservatives: with just a few ingredients – water, tea, lemon, and sugar – you can make a light, fragrant drink in just a few minutes, perfect for any time of the day. Perfect as an alternative to homemade peach iced tea.
Great to serve with ice, a few slices of lemon, and mint leaves for an even fresher touch!

Ingredients
- 4 1/4 cups water
- 3 bags tea (black or green)
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 lemon (juice)
- A few slices lemon

Steps
Bring the water to a boil, then turn off the heat. Squeeze the lemon and strain the juice.
Add the tea bags and let them steep for about 5–7 minutes (depending on how strong you want it).
Remove the bags and add the sugar. Stir well until it completely dissolves.
Add the lemon juice, stir, and let it cool. Pour the lemon iced tea into a pitcher or in a bottle and refrigerate.
Storage and Tips …
Store in the fridge and consume within 2/3 days.
