Mini calzones with mozzarella and tomato is an original, easy, and quick idea to prepare; perfect to serve on the table as an appetizing starter, or as tasty snacks within a buffet set up for a special occasion like a birthday or a dinner.
For this recipe, I used a pastry cutter with a diameter of 4 inches, a puff pastry roll, and filled with tomato and string cheese. Besides puff pastry, you can also use shortcrust pastry and pizza dough.
