Homemade Dog Biscuits in the Air Fryer

Today I propose a simple recipe to offer as a treat to our loyal four-legged friends🐶: Homemade Dog Biscuits, cooked in an Air Fryer. Have you ever run out of treats for your furry friends? I have… and so I decided to make them at home😍 I did some research online and the one that inspired me the most was the recipe by Benedetta Rossi, modifying it slightly, based on what I had available at home. A simple recipe, with a dough that doesn’t require resting, where ingredients are mixed all together in a bowl and cooked right after cutting out with cookie cutters.

As Benedetta suggests, before making these Homemade Dog Biscuits, consult your vet showing them the ingredients, as every dog has specific needs depending on breed, age, or health conditions. Obviously, these are extra treats and should be given in moderation, but this is true for store-bought ones as well. I cut them with small cookie cutters I had available to avoid overfeeding.

The Homemade Dog Biscuits can be cooked both in an Air Fryer and an oven, I’ll leave the instructions at the end of the recipe.

My dog is called Mia and she has been with us for over 9 years and loves them… I hope your furry kids like them too.
