Today I propose this Zucchini Rose Pie, cooked in a Air Fryer, super simple, tasty, and also nice to look at! I started with another preparation with zucchini, but then during the execution, I completely changed the recipe I had in mind.
You can customize this Zucchini Rose Pie as you wish and according to the tastes of the whole family. Mine includes a filling of zucchini, previously grilled, always in the Air Fryer, robiola cheese, cooked ham, and cheese slices, giving the recipe not only taste but also incredible creaminess. You can serve it as an appetizer or as a main course, and it’s delicious even warm.
Let’s prepare it right away!

How to prepare the Zucchini Rose Pie in Air Fryer
Start by preparing the zucchini. After washing and drying them, on a cutting board or work surface, remove both ends and slice the zucchini to a thickness slightly over a quarter inch,
Place the zucchini slices on the grill and brush both sides with extra virgin olive oil
Cook at 356°F for 15 minutes, turning the zucchini halfway through if necessary
Remove the zucchini, lightly salt them, and set them aside
While the zucchini cools a bit, let’s prepare the filling. In a bowl, combine the robiola cheese with 0.7 oz of Grana Padano, chives, a pinch of salt, and pepper
Spread the mixture on each zucchini slice
Place a nice piece of cooked ham on each slice
Add a strip of cheese slice on each piece. Take the end of the zucchini and roll it up
Repeat these steps with all the slices
Lightly oil the pan with a bit of oil and place the prepared zucchini in it
In another bowl, break the 2 eggs, beat them with a fork, add the milk, a pinch of salt, pepper, and the tablespoon of grated Grana. Mix well
Pour the egg and milk mixture into the pan
Preheat the fryer for 2-3 minutes (you can skip preheating; in the Ninja Combi, the Bake program is automatic) and place the pan on the grill
Cook the pie at 356°F for 18 minutes
Here it is ready…so good!!
