How delicious is Carasau bread with Stracchino in an air fryer?! If you don’t have much time and don’t want to miss out on something tasty, this is the perfect recipe!! Ideal to serve as an appetizer with friends or as a last-minute starter… you’ll make a great impression!
Carasau Bread is a typical Sardinian bread made from durum wheat semolina, a bread with very ancient origins, its preparation was a true family ritual. Thanks to its texture, a very thin and crispy sheet, Carasau Bread is suitable for various culinary preparations, not only as a bread substitute but also for making snacks like Guttiau Bread in Air Fryer or as a first course like the Carasau Lasagna with Artichokes and Ricotta delicate and good that I recommend you try.

Steps
Take the carasau bread sheets and quickly wet them with water to soften
Meanwhile, take a baking tray and grease the bottom with EVO oil. I used a 28 cm (11 inches) tray, but you can use smaller trays according to the size of your fryer and make more layers
Cover the bottom of the tray with the bread sheets and drizzle them with EVO oil
Add a pinch of salt and the stracchino cheese on top of the bread
Cover with more sheets and continue in sequence until you finish the ingredients, ending with the last layer of sheet drizzled with EVO oil
Insert the tray and cook at 356°F (180°C) for 6 minutes, raise to 392°F (200°C) and continue for 2 minutes. If it darkens too much, stop cooking
Enjoy it hot with the creamy cheese!
