Pumpkin, Mushroom, and Sausage Pie in Air Fryer

Pumpkin is once again the star in my recipes; it’s a delicious and very versatile vegetable. This time I present it to you as a perfect dish, both as a main course and as a single dish: the Pumpkin, Mushroom, and Sausage Pie in Air Fryer, a rich and hearty recipe, but also very delicious. Steps

How to prepare the Pumpkin, Mushroom, and Sausage Pie in Air Fryer

  • First, remove the pumpkin skin, seeds, and cut it into chunks

  • Chop the onion and sauté it with a good amount of oil

  • Once the onion is well golden, add the pumpkin, stir for a minute, pour in a small amount of water, cover, and let it cook until the pumpkin is tender, about 20 minutes

  • Transfer it to a bowl and mash it with a fork, let it cool for 10 minutes

  • Add the egg, flour, grated Parmesan, salt, pepper, nutmeg, and mix well

  • Peel the garlic and sauté it with the olive oil

  • Add the sliced champignon mushrooms and cook for 10 minutes, seasoning with salt and pepper

  • Transfer them to a bowl and mix with the stracchino

  • Remove the casing from the sausage

  • Crumble it coarsely and add it to the same pan where you cooked the mushrooms, hot, and with the help of a spoon or wooden spatula, crumble it as much as possible. Sauté for a few minutes

  • Add the mushrooms and let them flavor for a few minutes

  • Transfer mushrooms and sausage to a bowl and mix with the stracchino

  • Butter and dust the pan with breadcrumbs

  • Cover the base of the pan with half of the pumpkin puree and spread the mushroom, sausage, and stracchino filling on top

  • Cover with the other half of the puree

  • Sprinkle the surface with breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan

  • Insert the pan in the air fryer and cook at 340°F for 14 minutes, increase to 390°F and continue for 2 minutes
