Air Fryer Lasagna Bundles

Air fryer lasagna bundles are a unique and special way to prepare lasagna. The ragù is placed in the center of the sheet, cut in half, crisscrossed, and closed into a bundle. I replaced the béchamel with fresh cream to speed up the preparation with excellent results. Some of it I mixed with tomato sauce and with the rest I covered the bundles and sprinkled with grated Grana cheese. I covered the base of the baking dish with sauce and placed the lasagna bundles on top. A very simple and quick procedure to prepare these lasagna bundles, just like the cooking in the air fryer which takes only a few minutes. The lasagna bundles can be stuffed in different ways, even with cheeses and vegetables. Lasagna is a classic main dish that is always popular, like these delicious versions Mushroom and Sausage Lasagna in the Air Fryer or the more summery version like Lasagna with Pesto alla Genovese

Tools

What you need to prepare the lasagna bundles

  • 1 Pot
  • 1 Cutting board
  • 1 Knife
  • 1 Pan
  • 1 Air fryer
  • 2 Baking trays rectangular

Steps

How to prepare the lasagna bundles

  • Chop the celery and carrot into small pieces and mince the onion. Place them in a pan with a good drizzle of evo oil and sauté

  • Once the soffritto is ready, add the ground meat and brown it for a few minutes

  • Deglaze over high heat with white wine and let it evaporate

  • Pour in the tomato puree or pulp, add salt, cover with a lid, and cook over medium heat for about 20 minutes

  • Remove the lid and let the sauce reduce for 10 minutes; it should be quite dry and not too liquid.

  • Sauté a clove of garlic and add the sauce, salt, and cook over low heat for about 15 minutes. Once ready, add 50 ml of liquid cream

  • Cut the sheet in half lengthwise and crisscross it this way

  • In the center, place the ragù and a bit of grated Grana Padano

  • Close the top and bottom flaps this way

  • Now close the two side flaps. The closing part should be placed in the dish facing down. Continue until all the sheets are done

  • Cover the dish bottom with sauce and place the bundles (with the closure side down) and cover the bundles with more sauce

  • Add a bit of cream, the Grana Padano, and a bit more cream (this way the Parmesan won’t fly off during cooking with the fan’s air)

  • Place the dish in the air fryer and set the air fry program to 340°F for 9 minutes or until a crust forms on the surface

  • Your lasagna bundles are ready to be served!!!
