Potato Muffins with Crescenza Cheese and Cooked Ham

The potato muffins with crescenza cheese and cooked ham are a tasty idea for cooking potatoes. The potato is very versatile, and no matter how you prepare it, it’s always delicious. They are very simple to prepare, and you only need aluminum muffin cups, a glass to shape the potato muffins and create the cavity in the center that is filled with crescenza cheese, cooked ham, and a soft table cheese.

You can fill them as you prefer, for example with speck, mushrooms, or sausage, and you can replace the cheese with mozzarella.

Great as an appetizer to surprise your dinner guests.

Ingredients

  • 2 potatoes (large)
  • 3.5 oz crescenza cheese
  • 3 slices cooked ham
  • 1.5 oz soft table cheese
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • to taste oil (to grease the muffin cups)
  • to taste breadcrumbs

  • 1 Air Fryer
  • 4 Muffin Cups aluminum
  • 1 Pot
  • 1 Glass

Steps

  • First, you need to boil or steam the potatoes. Once cooled, peel them and cut them in half. Prepare the muffin cups by greasing them lightly with oil and coating them with breadcrumbs.

  • Place them in the muffin cups with the cut side up

  • With the bottom of a glass, press down until the potato edge emerges. Add salt and pepper

  • Insert the crescenza cheese in the center

  • Add the ham and the cheese of your choice, grated

  • Cook at 340°F for 13 minutes, lower to 300°F and continue for 3 minutes

  • Until golden brown

If you use smaller potatoes, you can insert them whole in the muffin cups without cutting them in half
