Coconut Bon Bons

in , ,

If you like coconut and want something indulgent that’s quick to make, these Coconut Bon Bons are ideal — but beware… they’re irresistible and addictive. You’ll love their texture: soft inside and slightly crunchy outside.

There are very few ingredients and you can prepare them ahead of time since the mixture needs to rest in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

You can enrich your Coconut Bon Bons with a chocolate coating to make them even more delicious, but I assure you they won’t disappoint even in their simplicity. They can be a unique dessert for a birthday party or served with a cup of coffee.
Cooking times are also quick and you can cook them in either an air fryer or the oven — just keep an eye on them during cooking. As soon as the surface becomes golden, they’re ready.

How to prepare the coconut bon bons

Steps

Preparation of the coconut bon bons

  • In a bowl, mix all the ingredients until you obtain a homogeneous mixture. Cover with plastic wrap and let rest in the refrigerator for one hour.

  • After the resting time, take a small piece of the dough and shape it into balls, trying to compact them as much as possible.

  • Place the balls directly on the air fryer rack or on a baking tray if using the oven. Cook in the air fryer at 320°F for 13 minutes or in a preheated oven at 356°F for 15 minutes, until golden on the surface.

  • The bon bons are ready — let them cool and serve.

  • Ready to enjoy!
