Recipe for Chicken Broth with Instant Pot
Start preparing the chicken broth with the Instant Pot from the vegetables.
Peel the onion, clean the celery, peel the potato and carrots, then chop everything into large pieces.
Transfer the vegetables to the electric pressure cooker.
Add the chicken as well, my butcher recommended the wing parts with the skin.
Also add the coarse salt and water.
Close the pot with its lid and close the valve.
Set the cooking to Pressure Cook on low pressure for 1 hour.
Once the program is finished, allow the pot to naturally release pressure until the valve drops.
The chicken broth with the Instant Pot is ready: you can choose to serve it as is or separate and strain it with a colander.

FAQ (Questions and Answers)
How long does the chicken broth made with Instant Pot last?
You can store it in the refrigerator for 3-4 days in an airtight container, or freeze it for up to 3 months. I recommend letting it cool completely before transferring it to jars or freezer bags.
Can I use only meat or also bones for the broth?
You can use whole chicken, only thighs, or even carcass and bones: the bones release more collagen and give the broth a richer flavor and a slightly gelatinous texture.
Can I add anything else besides the classic vegetables?
Of course! You can enrich the broth with spices or aromatic herbs such as bay leaf, parsley, cloves, or fresh ginger for a spicy and fragrant touch.
