Steps
Making your Fun puff pastry and sausage octopuses only takes a few moments, so you can make them with your kids.
Unroll the rectangular puff pastry and cut 6 strips about 2 inches wide.
Score the sausages crosswise, only on one side.
Place the sausage on the end of a puff pastry strip, leaving the cut part outside.
Roll it up and seal by pressing with your hands.
Transfer the octopuses to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them apart and placing the puff pastry seam-side down. Brush with vegetable oil and sprinkle with seeds or Parmesan cheese.
Bake at 392°F for about 20 minutes, or until golden.
Once the puff pastry and sausage octopuses are cooked, finish with the eyes. Just melt a piece of cheese in the microwave – I used a cheese slice, but any hard cheese works – and put a drop on the back of the eyes to attach them.
Your Fun puff pastry and sausage octopuses are ready to bring joy!
