Apple Roses in Air Fryer

Apple roses are delicious, tasty desserts that are perfect for snack or breakfast. They are made with only 3 ingredients and are incredibly easy to make: just slice the apples thinly, place them on the pastry, roll them up, and you’re done! As you’ll see, it takes just 5 minutes to prepare them, and once you’ve tried them, you’ll always make them this way. This way, everyone will love the apples, even the little ones.

To cook the apple roses, you can use an air fryer or the oven. You’ll find all the cooking instructions below. I recommend using muffin molds, but in their absence, you can easily make them this way by placing them on parchment paper.

  • Difficulty: Very easy
  • Cost: Economical
  • Preparation time: 5 Minutes
  • Portions: 4
  • Cooking methods: Air Frying, Oven
  • Cuisine: Italian
  • Seasonality: All seasons

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet rectangular puff pastry
  • 1 apple
  • to taste apricot jam (or other flavor as desired)

Tools

  • Air Fryer
  • Muffin Molds

Steps

  • First, cut the apple in half and then into very thin slices; to make the job easier, you can use a mandolin. Take one sheet of rectangular puff pastry and divide it into 4 long strips. Place the apple slices along the top part of the strip, slightly overlapping them and letting the skin side hang out. Now, fold the pastry to cover the apples and roll it up to form roses.
