Ingredients

  • 1 package phyllo dough (11 sheets)
  • 1 pear
  • 5.3 oz brie
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp Greek yogurt
  • leaves mint (to taste)
  • to taste extra virgin olive oil
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • to taste honey

Steps

  • First, slice the pear and the brie (camembert is fine too). Crinkle each phyllo sheet by folding it accordion style.

  • Place a sheet of parchment paper in the air fryer basket or, if using the oven, take a pan about 8 inches in diameter. Arrange the crinkled phyllo sheets on top, trying to place them all close together. There are no rules, so be creative!

    Drizzle a bit of EVO oil over the phyllo. Arrange the slices of pears and brie between the folds of the phyllo.

  • Meanwhile, prepare the cream to add to the savory pie: in a bowl, beat two eggs, add a pinch of salt, pepper, thyme (if you like), and a tablespoon of Greek yogurt (BELOW in the tips you’ll find how to substitute the yogurt), then mix well.

  • Add the cream to the savory pie and cook in the air fryer at 392°F for 9-10 minutes or in a preheated oven for 15-20 minutes (check that it is well browned).

    Serve the savory pie with honey and fresh mint leaves. It will be out of this world: try it! Enjoy your meal.

Tips for you

✔ You can substitute Greek yogurt with 100 ml of fresh cream (unsweetened), 80 g of melted butter, or 100 ml of soy milk.

✔ Instead of brie, you can use camembert cheese or, for an even bolder taste, gorgonzola.

✔ The phyllo dough savory pie can be stored in the fridge for up to 2-3 days.
