This recipe is the trend of the moment: a pizza made with two flatbreads, super quick to make and no hassle. I assure you the taste will win over even the skeptics. The piadipizza is delicious, so easy that it literally takes less than five minutes to prepare and will be loved by everyone.

We can cook the piadipizza in an air fryer, directly inside the basket, or in a hot oven by increasing the temperature and cooking time. Below you will find both cooking instructions ⬇️

The piadipizza is a perfect main dish as a dinner saver or a last-minute lunch. A piadipizza can be divided into two or, if you’re greedy like me, it’s fine for one person. If you want to make it for a buffet, you can cut it into more slices and share it with everyone!

Of course, the toppings are at your discretion: I opted for a very simple piadipizza with tomato sauce and mozzarella, but any other ingredient will make it amazing.

Check out these super easy and no-hassle recipes THAT CAN BE MADE IN A FEW MINUTES:

Tips for you

✔ It is necessary to cook the piadipizza directly in the basket of the air fryer WITHOUT using baking sheets or parchment paper: this way they will cook with air circulating 360 degrees from bottom to top, allowing for an ideal air frying without obstructions.

✔ To protect the basket I recommend using the BBQ mesh: the mesh can be cut with scissors to size and placed on the basket; this way during cooking it protects the non-stick coating of the basket (which will remain like new) and allows the food to cook evenly, letting the air pass 360 degrees. Moreover, it is reusable, dishwasher safe (or hand washable) and lasts 3-4 months even if used every day. You can find it on Amazon clicking here (set of 4 meshes).

✔ Alternatively, you can use perforated parchment paper, which allows air to pass through the holes. You can find it on Amazon clicking here: link.

✔ For this recipe, I used the COSORI 5.5 air fryer in the “red” version (beautiful) which you can find on Amazon here: link
