Ingredients
- 1 roll puff pastry
- 1 roll pizza dough
- 4.2 oz cooked ham
- 3.5 oz scamorza cheese
- 2/3 cup tomato sauce
- to taste extra virgin olive oil
- to taste egg (to brush the surface)
Tools
- 1 Mold
How to make Parisian Muffins
Unroll the pizza dough, spreading it out on a work surface. Then, using a round pastry cutter of 4 inches, cut out 6 discs.
Place them in a pre-oiled muffin mold, then fill them with scamorza cheese, cooked ham, and tomato sauce.
Roll out the puff pastry and cut out 6 discs with a diameter of about 2.5-2.75 inches, then place them on top of your muffins to close and seal the edges well. Brush the top with oil.
Bake in a preheated oven at 356°F for about 25 minutes, using the static mode; alternatively, you can bake in an air fryer at 356°F for 15-20 minutes.
Tips and Storage for Parisian Muffins
Today’s preparation can be stored, only after being cooked, under a cake dome until the next day. Alternatively, you can also freeze them, but for a limited time due to the puff pastry. You can roll out the leftover dough scraps and make more portions of Parisian muffins.
