Ingredients for the preparation of cold Pavesini paradise cake with coffee

  • 6 packets Pavesini
  • 1 cup mascarpone
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 2 teaspoons instant coffee
  • 5.3 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 1.7 oz coffee

Steps for the preparation of cold Pavesini paradise cake with coffee

  • Dissolve the instant coffee in hot water. Let it cool and mix with chilled sweetened condensed milk.

  • Whip the cream with the mascarpone, both well chilled. When they become a thick foam, while still whisking, pour in the coffee with condensed milk gradually. It may seem like the cream becomes liquid, but by whisking, it will become firm again.

  • Line a baking dish with plastic wrap, create the base and edges with the Pavesini. Soak them with the coffee. Pour half of the coffee cream. Make another layer of Pavesini soaked with coffee. Pour the remaining cream and close the cake with Pavesini, soaking them with the coffee.

  • Place the dessert in the fridge for two to three hours. Invert the dessert onto a cutting board or plate and serve with unsweetened cocoa powder.
