Pasta with Robiola and Breadcrumbs

Pasta with Robiola and breadcrumbs is truly one of those easy and quick recipes to always keep in mind, especially if you often return home late or completely out of schedule from work or commitments. For me, it has always been a quick and tasty “lunch saver”, light yet flavorful, in short, I’m not discovering the wheel but you’ll see that you’ll like this pasta! Ingredients for Pasta with robiola for two people:

  • 7 oz pasta (in my case spaghetti)
  • 2.82 oz robiola
  • to taste breadcrumbs
  • to taste nutmeg
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper

Tools

  • 1 Pan
  • 1 Pot
  • 1 Wooden Spoon
  • 1 Bowl

Preparation of Pasta with robiola:

  • The first thing to do to prepare Pasta with Robiola is to boil the water for the pasta you have chosen.

    Now let’s prepare the robiola. Take a bowl and pour in the 80 g of robiola, add two tablespoons of pasta cooking water, sprinkle with black pepper and nutmeg. I always add a pinch of salt, just a little, please. Mix everything with a spoon or fork. It should become a smooth and lump-free cream.

  • Now heat the pan on the stove, once the bottom has heated up, warm the breadcrumbs in it, stirring with a wooden spoon and being careful not to burn it. You will smell the aroma of bread in the kitchen.

    Boil the chosen pasta and drain it from the cooking water. Pour it into the bowl where you worked the robiola and mix with a fork.

  • Serve the pasta with robiola and sprinkle with the freshly warmed breadcrumbs. If necessary, add a sprinkle of pepper.

  • You can replace the nutmeg with a pinch of curry if you prefer to give a spicier touch to the robiola.
