I finally have the perfect recipe for Nutella-Filled Muffins with a Soft Center. I found this recipe on a friend’s blog, Tatiana, and I immediately wrote it down because I wanted to compare it with mine since in hers the Nutella stayed in the center while in mine it often sinks to the bottom of the muffin paper. So I thank Tatiana for sharing her recipe and I must admit that I spend a lot of time browsing her blog, and every time I find so many interesting and especially delicious recipes!!!
Now let’s get to the recipe for making 12 Soft-Hearted Nutella Muffins. Get a bowl for the dry ingredients and one for the liquids, an electric whisk, and you’re all set. A few minutes of preparation and breakfast or snack is served!

Ingredients for 12 Nutella Muffins:
Quantities and procedure to make 12 Muffins with a Soft Nutella Center
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 6 oz butter (or 160 g of seed oil)
- 3 eggs
- 1 packet baking powder
- 2/3 cup milk (150 ml)
- 1 packet vanillin
- 1 pinch salt
- to taste Nutella®
Tools for Nutella Muffins
- 2 Bowls
- 1 Electric whisk
- 1 Oven
- 1 Muffin tray
- 1 Spoon
- 1 Teaspoon
Preparation of 12 Soft-Hearted Nutella Muffins:
The first thing to do to prepare these Nutella Muffins is to melt the butter in a bain-marie in a saucepan. Once done, preheat the oven to 350°F, the preparation is quick so the oven needs to be well at temperature to bake them immediately.
Next, take two bowls, in one we will pour and sift the flour with the sugar, vanilla packet, and baking powder. Mix with the help of a spoon.
In the other bowl, we will work with the electric whisks the liquids, so the eggs, the now melted butter, and the glass of milk, adding a pinch of salt.
Now pour the liquids into the bowl with the powders and still with the electric whisks work the ingredients until you get a smooth and homogeneous mixture, free of lumps.
Take the muffin tray and butter the various molds and flour them. Alternatively, you can use muffin paper placing it in the 12 molds.
Pour our mixture into each mold up to 2/3 of it. Place a not too full teaspoon of Nutella in the center. Then cover with a spoonful of mixture. Continue like this for all 12 molds.
Bake at 350°F for about 20 to 25 minutes, always do the toothpick test before turning off the oven. You will see that the muffins will begin to puff up and turn golden brown on the outside. Once baked, let them cool, removing them from the mold and placing them on a rack so that the moisture can escape. If you like you can dust them with powdered sugar or enjoy them plain.
Enjoy your meal!!!
Storage:
Nutella Muffins can be stored in a cake container for up to 4 or 5 days, they remain soft and delicious.
