Why Perfect Pancakes? Because after testing this recipe for three Sundays, I’d say it’s more than tried and tested. The amount is for 5 maximum or 6 nice big and thick pancakes as you see in the photos. I would say the perfect breakfast for two people. Do you know a sweeter way to say Good Morning?! Ingredients for Perfect Pancakes for two people:
- 1 Eggs (or three egg whites)
- 2.3 oz Sugar
- 0.85 cup Milk
- 1.75 cups All-purpose flour (up to a maximum of 2 cups)
- 1 tbsp Baking powder (about half a packet)
- as needed Butter
- 1 pinch Salt
Tools for the recipe
- Stovetop
- 1 Bowl
- 1 Spatula
- 1 Hand whisk
- 1 Pan
Preparation of Perfect Pancakes recipe for two people:
The recipe is very simple and it really takes only 5 minutes to prepare the pancake batter. Take a bowl and break the egg into it. Then add the sugar, sifted flour by spoonfuls, milk, and baking powder. Work everything with a hand whisk. I always add a pinch of salt at the end because otherwise, they turn out too sweet for my taste. You can skip it if you like.
Take a non-stick pan and melt some butter across the surface. I usually cook two at a time because I have a nice big pan. Consider that the size of the pancakes is up to you, so if you want them as big as mine and you have a small pan, it’s better to cook them one at a time.
When you see bubbles on the surface, it’s time to flip them gently with a spatula in a decisive motion so they don’t break and the still slightly liquid part doesn’t spread in the pan.
Also, keep in mind that after a few minutes, the pan will maintain constant heat, so they cook faster and faster. At this point, serve them however you like. Enjoy your meal and Good Morning!
Variations:
In the decoration, you can let your imagination run wild: strawberries, banana, kiwi, orange, jam, Nutella, whatever you like. The variant in my photo consists of: Strawberries and Banana with berry jam in the middle, a drizzle of Nutella on top, and coconut flour to complete the picture. Then
