Often after a day of work, we arrive tired but especially hungry in the kitchen and the desire to cook is never too much: here comes this recipe to save you, just a pastry roll and some potatoes to have a perfect dinner.
You won’t mess anything because it goes straight into the oven without too much hassle, the thinly sliced potatoes will cook in no time, and you’ll be happy with the result.

Ingredients
- 1 roll puff pastry
- 3 potatoes
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- salt
- sprigs rosemary

Steps
Let’s prepare this recipe together
First, let’s start with the potatoes (this step is optional, but if you have a few minutes, I always recommend it to clean the potatoes well from starch).
Peel the potatoes well, wash them under running water, and slice them very thinly (a few millimeters) with the help of a mandolin or whatever you have at home.
Place them in a bowl and fill with cold water, this step is just to clean the starch from the potatoes, but it’s not essential.
Leave them for 15 minutes, drain the water, and dry with a kitchen towel.
On a baking sheet, unroll the puff pastry directly with its parchment paper underneath:
place the potato slices on top, then pour oil, salt, and Parmesan,
Finally, a few sprigs of rosemary or even dried rosemary as a spice.
Preheat the oven to 356°F (180°C) for 10 minutes, put the tray in, and let it cook for about 30 minutes: of course, each cooking depends on the power of your oven.
If you like, in the last 5 minutes you can sprinkle some breadcrumbs to make it even tastier.
Turn off the oven and let it rest for about 10 minutes.
