How to prepare pizzaiola-style slices with mozzarella

  • Let’s start preparing pizzaiola-style slices with mozzarella, pour the tomato puree or crushed tomatoes into a pan, add some extra virgin olive oil and a teaspoon of oregano, put on the stove and let it simmer for a few minutes.

  • While the tomato is simmering, slice the mozzarella.

  • Add the meat slices to the tomato and cook for a few minutes; the time varies depending on their thickness and type of meat. Veal requires a few minutes, while chicken and turkey need more time as these types of meat must be well cooked.
