Green beans in a pressure cooker, a side dish that is simple and perfect to accompany any type of main course, whether meat or fish, and thanks to the pressure cooker, they take very little time to cook. I love green beans simply boiled and seasoned with oil, pepper, and salt, but of course, you can also sauté them with oil and a clove of garlic, dip them in tomato sauce, bake them, or make a variety of salads. How to prepare Green Beans in a pressure cooker
Let’s begin
Let’s start preparing the green beans in a pressure cooker, trim the beans by removing the ends and wash them well under running water.
Place them in the pressure cooker, cover with cold water and a pinch of salt, put on high heat, once the cooker starts whistling, lower to minimum and cook for 5 minutes, then turn off the heat and let the pressure release from the cooker before opening the lid.
Once the pressure has released, open the lid, drain the green beans, and place them in a bowl, season with pepper, adjust with salt, and add extra virgin olive oil. Serve the green beans hot or at room temperature.
