How to prepare Fennel in foil

  • Let’s start preparing the fennel in foil by washing the fennel, removing any bad leaves, and slicing them into thin slices about 1/4 inch with a sharp knife or mandoline for uniform thickness and even cooking.

  • Cut 4 squares of parchment paper, divide the sliced fennel into 4 parts, and place them in the center of the parchment paper sheets. Season with salt, pepper, and extra virgin olive oil.

  • Close the parcels and place them on the oven rack and bake at 356°F for 20 minutes. When cooking is complete, remove the parcels from the oven, open them, and serve the fennel hot.
