How to prepare Onion Frittata in Air Fryer
Let’s start preparing the onion frittata in the air fryer, peel the onion, wash it, and slice it very thinly with the mandoline.
Pour the eggs into a bowl, season with salt and pepper, add a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, and beat with a fork for a few minutes.
Add the Tropea onion to the eggs and mix well. Place a paper tray in the air fryer basket and pour the eggs with the onion in it, level them, and distribute the onion evenly.
Cook at 356°F for 15 minutes, then open the basket and check if the eggs have set, if necessary, continue cooking for a few more minutes; the time may vary depending on the type of air fryer being used.
Once cooked, open the air fryer basket, remove the tray with the onion frittata, take it out of the tray, and cut it into pieces before serving.
