How to prepare Chocolate Muffins in Air Fryer

  • Let’s start preparing the chocolate muffins cooked in the air fryer, finely chop the dark chocolate and melt it in a bain-marie, when it is melted, remove it from the hot water so it has time to cool down a bit.

  • Pour the eggs and sugar into a bowl and work with the electric mixer until you get a light and fluffy mixture. Slowly add the milk and oil while continuing with the electric mixer, then add the melted dark chocolate and keep mixing.

  • Sift directly into the bowl, the all-purpose flour, cocoa, a pinch of salt, and baking powder. Fold these into the remaining ingredients with a spatula using upward and downward movements to prevent deflating the mixture.

  • Pour the prepared mixture into the cupcake liners, filling them about 3/4 full, and add chocolate chips on top.

  • Place the liners in the air fryer basket and bake at 302°F for 20 minutes. Before removing, perform the toothpick test to check if they are cooked inside. If the toothpick comes out moist, continue cooking for a few more minutes. The cooking time varies depending on the type of air fryer and the size of the liners.
